Alan L. Jacobson M.D. is a board-certified cosmetic surgeon in Jupiter, Florida and he practiced in New York for eight years; combining both private practice and academic medicine (Columbia University and Mt. Sinai Schools of Medicine). As Director of the Division of Head and Neck Surgery, Trauma, and Reconstructive surgery, Dr. Jacobson has trained many medical students and resident physicians. Moving to Palm Beach in 1989 and establishing the Physicians Skin Care Plastic Surgery Center, Dr. Jacobson has realized the fulfillment of his life's professional dream.
Dr. Jacobson is widely published in textbooks and medical journals, and has been an invited lecturer and teacher both nationally and internationally.

The Facility: Consultations are provided at our Jupiter or Wellington offices. Our cosmetic surgery is performed in our certified surgical suite at the Jupiter office, located north of Donald Ross Road off Military Trail.
Surgery is also performed at our state of the art surgicenter, located on PGA Blvd in Palm Beach Gardens.
Recovery: Patients are discharged the same day as surgery is performed. For those patients who prefer to be pampered or need professional care, we have fully staffed recovery center with a waterfront view.
Comprehensive Care
We believe that rejuvenation is a process not just a procedure. Along these lines we like to prepare our patients preoperatively and individually tailor a postoperative regime.
A proper skin care program is specifically developed for each patient and initiated before, during, and after surgery. This protocol enhances and prolongs the results achieved from surgery. All products are result oriented and are chosen from the most advanced product lines available.
When applicable, our patients are often seen postoperatively by one of our licensed Massage Therapist. The therapist will treat the patient with Lymphatic Drainage Therapy or other massage techniques in order to facilitate more rapid, comfortable healing.
Alternative medical therapies such as homeopathy, herbology, vitamin therapy, healing touch, and acupuncture are also offered to our patients.
