Meet Dr. Mardirossian

Double Board Certified Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon

Dr. Vartan Mardirossian brings to the practice the latest advances inDr. Mardirossian - FFS Surgeon European and U.S. facial plastic surgery. Instead of focusing on a specific procedure, his philosophy involves evaluating the face and neck in their harmony and entirety, paying particular attention to the concepts of facial perception. His philosophy results in a personalized plan of surgical and non-surgical treatments aimed to achieve a naturally youthful and attractive look. His mastery of minimally invasive surgery, traditional facial plastic surgery, and facial feminization surgery techniques have proven to be a great match for our practice.

Dr. Mardirossian was born in Bulgaria but moved to Italy at a young age. There he obtained a full scholarship to attend the prestigious Collegio Armeno Moorat Raphael in Venice and then the Medical School at the Facolta` di Medicina e Chirurgia dell`Universita` degli Studi di Padova, one of the oldest Medical Schools in existence.

During each year of his medical education he was awarded with a presidential scholarship and was one of the very few students to complete his studies in six years with Summa cum Laude. Upon conclusion of his medical studies, Dr. Mardirossian pursued a residency training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery under the guidance of the famous European rhinoplasty surgeon Professor Staffieri. After, he was invited to perform clinical research in head and neck oncology and robotic surgery at Boston University, where he matched in the highly competitive residency in Otolaryngology.

Upon completion of his residency, Dr. Mardirossian pursued a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery under the mentorship of the world acclaimed Facial Plastic Surgeon, Dr. Jeffrey Spiegel. During his years of training, he acquired mastery in procedures like rhinoplasty, facelift, brow lift, otoplasty, blepharoplasty as well as procedures that enhance the feminine features of the face such as tracheal shave, lip lift, scalp advancement, and forehead, mandible, and chin contouring.
